About Tim Arnold
Tim Arnold is no ordinary marketing director; he is a portfolio marketing director. That means he is working with a number of companies helping them set up a marketing function often for the first time, or helping with a big new marketing drive, opening new channels and developing brands.
By working with several companies he gives them the input of a senior experienced marketing director with a solid commercial contribution for a fraction of the true cost of a full time appointment. Currently his portfolio includes, B2C eCommerce, Food Services, Travel & Haircare. He also works with a number of agencies and consultancies helping with both strategy and creative development.
In a long career he has run agencies, been marketing director of major multi-national companies and be on the road of Unilever and Yardley. ‘With such a broad spectrum of clients & markets I try and keep as wide an eye as possible on all things marketing. This blog is aimed to capture the thoughts on why some marketing is superior to others and then share them with others in the marketing community’.
